Quiet now, and keep your voices down
Listen to the voices all around
While you try to figure out the sound
Whispered through the teeth amongst the crowd
Still within the claws of the forsook
It's a story we hold in prestige
Grab that drab and dingy-looking book
Turn the page, and find what you may seek
At the prelude, it starts with the prince
And that prince sat alone in the dark
And yes, while he was lonely at first
Not for long did he find it, the spark
And that spark was the heroes he sought
In his heart, he knew who it was to be
Swept aside was the doubt in his mind
Now he knew that these two were the key
With the key that brings misery peace
It was time for the journey to start
Even though they were missing a piece
Those remiss did then lead the embark
Then, oh that did the journey begin
Where, and when would they see out of sight
Lending hands to the dreams held within
And to those who're still out of mind
Marching forward amongst carmesí
Even winning a battle or two
So the heroes and villains decide
What they really needed was the truce
The tale of which, oh, it should be followed
The tail of which, it should not be followed
Cacophonous coffins filled with sorrow
Questioning if they would see tomorrow?
Philosophy begs another question (They'll see the tail of hell take crawl)
What will happen at the ending of their
Story, set in glory, set in something (The flower man, asylums call)
Mandatory; for it's all for nothing
The tale of which, oh, it should be followed (The angel, crying out in choir)
The tail of which, it should not be followed (Finally banished to meet with its desire)
Questioning if they would see tomorrow?
Moving to the first hero, The Cage
With a human soul and human parts
Like a ball being dragged by a chain
They so simply just follow their heart
Onto the second hero, The Girl
With such mighty hope cross on her heart
And eventually love finds The Girl
Ever chilling, her fate torn apart
Won't you tell us what you think it means?
Is this the present, is it the past?
It may be real, it may be a dream
Just watch your step for snakes in the grass
And if it's written onto a page
Doesn't mean that it has to end there?
Maybe we're the ones trapped in a cage
Maybe we're damaged past or repairs
These Elysian nights fell so bare
Creatures forming and harming the light
Notably when your time is so scarce
Will you break down or will you now fight?
The tale of which, oh, it should be followed
The tail of which, it should not be followed
Cacophonous coffins filled with sorrow
Questioning if they would see tomorrow?
Philosophy begs another question (Through all the terrors)
What will happen at the ending of their (And trials you fight)
Story, set in glory, set in something (Through the endless night)
Mandatory; for it's all for nothing (Through the darkness you're still shining bright)
The tale of which, oh, it should be followed (Glimmering, glimmering all through the night)
The tail of which, it should not be followed
Cacophonous coffins filled with sorrow
Questioning if they would see tomorrow? (Even if the story doesn't seem apparent)
Philosophy begs another question (Through all the terrors)
What will happen at the ending of their (And trials you fight)
Story, set in glory, set in something (Through the endless night)
Mandatory; for it's all for nothing (Through the darkness you're still shining bright)
Forest tail
The children grow, the followed (Glimmering, glimmering all through the night)
Where the lost would pointed deepened sorrow
For the children of a story swallowed
Question them if they will see tomorrow (Even the glass just doesn't seem transparent)
Now
